Summit Mountain Day Saturday

Summit Mountain Day will celebrate the beginning of summer Saturday with a day of fun events that begins at 8am at the Summit Firehouse with a pancake breakfast.
Breakfast will be served until 11am; many of the other festivities will take place at the Summit Town Garage, beginning at 11am.
Parking and admission are free.
Throughout the day food and drink will be available, there will be vendors, arts and crafts, an antique car show, wagon rides, juggling and a magic show by Howard Schrumpf.
There will be music by the Gael Joyal Band, Crystal Smith, Larry Barry, the Yak Yak Creek Band, Gary Jenkins, and the Gravel Yard Band, and at 3pm at the town hall, a demonstration by Free Spirit Belly Dancing.
For pet lovers, there will be a dog obedience and tracking demonstration at noon and a doggy costume show at 2pm and at 1pm, a Roman Rider demonstration by John Winslow and his draft horses at the Seventh Day Adventist Pavilion.
There will also be a farmer's market and art and historical exhibits featuring both Summit and Charlotteville.
